How to Multiply Two Digits by One Digit

Multiplication Gets Real!!!!!

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 has gone very well and we will be wrapping up.  I look for another round of very high averages on this test out of all groups.  I will be adding Chapter 5 links to the blog as we move into multiplying one digit by two digit numbers.
It is PARAMOUNT that your student know with regularity the basic multiplication facts.  In the links you will find a site that you can print off practice pages at home.  They are conveniently formatted by particular numbers and should be of great help.

Thank you,

Mr. Powers

Chapter 2 Test Results

I was very pleased with the overall performance of all of the groups on the Chapter 2 Test. The class averages break down like this; Powers 84.3%, Bealle 84.8%, Cork 88.4%, and Campbell a whopping 89.7%!!!!!  Mr. Campbell's class was rewarded by getting to watch crystal eat a frozen mouse.  The only complaint I received was that it wasn't a live mouse.
